Nineteen Bespoke Care, a part of award winning Nineteen Recruitment Services, is a new service dedicated to providing staffing support to local authorities for their emergency care packages for the children and young people in their care.

Responsibilities:

  • Support children and young people in their day-to-day activities, which may include facilitating school attendance, meal planning, and recreational activities.
  • Foster a safe and welcoming environment for children, ensuring their emotional, physical, and mental well-being.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualised support plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to children and young people, helping them develop essential life skills.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of each child's progress and any significant incidents.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to agency policies and procedures at all times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children in a residential care setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Empathy, patience, and the ability to build trust with children and young people.
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver's license, business insurance and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred).
  • Ideally, you will be qualified to level 3 and have undertaken training in safeguarding, CSE, H&S, E&D, Missing and Notification, Restraint and more.
